Summer Reading Program
Monday, June 8 through Saturday, August 1
All children up through 8th grade are invited to join our udderly awesome reading club! Register in the Children’s Department and receive a fun farm reading log to keep track of the time that you spend reading. Earn prizes as you complete your reading goals throughout the summer.
From June 8 through February 28, read one of the 2010 Monarch Award nominee books and drop a bead in our special butterfly jar. During March if you guess how many beads are in the jar you can win a special prize! For grades K-3.
Find out about our Kids’ Picks reading competition for students in grades 3-5. This year’s competition will run from June 8, 2009 through February 28, 2010.
